It is classified as AWS A5.10 ER5356 and is typically used in construction, truck trailer and boat manufacturing. It is an all-position solid MIG wire with excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in salt water environments. ER5356 welds 5086 and lower strength alloys (35 ksi minimum UTS).
