Harris® 26 Aluminum Welding Electrode 00026500POP
21 Stick Tube – Harris 26 aluminum stick welding electrode is an AWS classification E4043 aluminum welding alloy. Harris 26 is designed to run in all positions and features good electrical conductivity, color match and machine-ability. It operates in DC reverse polarity (DCEP) and has a tensilestrength of up to 34,000.
NOTE: 3/32″ diameter has 21 electrodes per tube. 1/8″ diameter has 13 electrodes per tube.

Procedure:
Clean weld area
Bevel sections greater than 1/4
Preheat – 500° F is recommended on sections greater than 1/8
DC – reverse polarity
Hold electrode in a vertical position
Remove flux between passes
Clean with hot water; add 10% sulfuric acid to water if additional cleaning is required
