Pkg. of 1 – Genuine Hypertherm® SmartSYNC™ 45 to 85 Amp Max Removal Plasma Gouging Cartridge (Green) is optimized for aggressive metal removal. The Max Removal Gouging cartridge produces deep gouge profiles. It is designed to be used with Hypertherm Powermax plasma cutters equipped with a SmartSYNC plasma torch. SmartSYNC cartridges can also be adapted to fit older Duramax® torches by using a #428951 cartridge adapter (sold separately).
SmartSYNC™ plasma cartridges are one-piece consumable cartridges that are installed and removed with just a 1/4 turn. A single, color-coded (green) cartridge contains all the necessary consumables for hand torch plasma gouging in one convenient assembly. The smart cartridge eliminates the need to individually replace the plasma cup, tip, electrode and swirl ring – saving time and reducing parts inventory. RFID chips in both the consumable cartridge and SmartSYNC torch take the guesswork out of your machine set up by automatically setting your Powermax SYNC to the correct process and output settings – no manual adjustments are necessary. The RFIDs also communicate the cartridge’s end-of-life status back to the plasma cutter to ensure maximum performance and superior metal cuts. (NOTE: machine set up and end-of-life features are not available when using an older Durmax plasma torch).
